Delicious and Nutritious Food at Bexley Eco Festival

Updated: Sep 29, 2022

The big day is nearly here and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on behind the scenes with you.

With less than 2 weeks to go before we meet up, we thought we’d share with you the delicious local food vendors who are coming to join us on Saturday 25th of June to keep you nourished whilst you take part in our exciting sustainability and relaxing wellbeing activities.

Foxys Wood Fired Pizza

We’ll have delicious wood-fired pizza freshly cooked by Bexley based Foxys Wood Fired Pizza. Foxys specialise in catering at charity and outdoor events alongside a regular popup slot at West

Woodside Garages in Bexley. Originating from the Australian bush, they have customised a VW Retro Tourer with a Bushman wood-fired oven to produce stunning artisan and gourmet pizzas out and about around the community.

They’re always researching new ingredients and pride themselves on offering a variety of dietary options including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Encouraging healthy eating, food sustainability and reducing food waste is a core belief of Foxys so they’re a perfect fit for us at

Bexley Eco Festival this year!

Curry & Rice

If it’s curry and rice are more your thing then you’ll be spoilt for choice with both Infinite Caribbean Cuisine and Big Meat BBQ

Infinite Caribbean Cuisine will be tantalising us with their jerk chicken, curry goat, BBQ wings chickpea curry and additional sides including plantain, dumplings and coleslaw. They’ve been catering for most types of private events and larger public events for over 8 years so have a loyal customer base coming back for more. The best place to follow them is via Instagram here

Big Meat BBQ will also be joining us with their delicious jerk chicken, jerk pork and curried goat. If you fancy something lighter then maybe their Jamaican patties, hot dogs or plaintain will be up your street. Follow them via their Facebook page here.

Precious Healthy Foods will join us with a selection of curries including chicken and vegan curry. Alternatively, if you just fancy a snack then there’ll be a variety of freshly baked cakes, cookies and fresh fruit pots to nibble on alongside teas and coffee and juice. Just the ticket when you need to take a break between visiting our amazing stalls.

Nigerian Food

For something a bit different to BBQ why not try Yeti’s Authentic Kitchen? You can sample a variety of Nigerian cuisine. Expect delicacies such as delicious and healthy jollof rice and stews will feature here. And if you like what you try they can take all the hassle out of organising your event by combining their project management of vendors and catering for gatherings of various sizes.

You can follow Yeti’s Authentic kitchen via the main socials on their Instagram or Facebook page to see where they’ll next be appearing.

Finally, if it’s something sweet you’re after then there will of course be an ice cream van courtesy of Mr Whippy to help you cool down, especially useful if you get hot joining in any of the dance activities and always a favourite with the kids!

We think you’ll agree we’ve got a great selection of local food vendors so come down and try something new.

See you soon on Saturday 25th June!
